Hadley Hudson
Owner, Chief Creative Officer
Hadley Hudson, the creator of Straight From The Horse, studied animation in California and worked in animation development, where he gained valuable experience shaping stories and characters. His work eventually shifted from Hollywood to heavy industry, leading him back to Texas to manage multimillionaire-dollar railroad projects. Despite the change, his passion for humor, writing, and character-driven storytelling never left him. After years spent competing in horseback archery around the world, a medical procedure led Hadley to retire early and re-imagine his creative path. Inspired by the classic TV shows, comic strips, and cartoons he grew up with, he saw the opportunity to combine his love for animals and storytelling with today’s accessible technology. Through contacts he’s kept in the entertainment industry and other talented friends, Hadley brings Straight From The Horse to life as a collaborative effort under Archery Room Productions, merging timeless humor with fresh perspectives. This project isn’t just a show; it’s the realization of Hadley’s lifelong creative vision.
Katey Shields
Media & Operations Manager
Katey Shields, Archery Room Productions’ Social Media and Operations Manager, combines her passion for animals with a strong background in organization and digital media. With experience in livestock management, ranch work, and kennels, Katey brings hands-on knowledge of animal care to the team, enriched by her natural affinity for horses and years in agricultural settings. In addition to her skills with animals, Katey understands the changing media landscape and how to engage younger audiences, making her instrumental in shaping Archery Room’s online presence. Equally at home working hard outside with animals or managing day-to-day operations from the office, Katey’s dedication, organizational skills, and social media savvy make her an invaluable member of the team.
